Most recent scout group newsletter is below...
Since 1977 we have been known as 14th Walton on the Hill Jubilee Scout Group based at St. Johns but before that we were 14th Brook Road Methodist. Going back even further in the groups history the 27th Aintree. Anyone older could probably tell you what the group was called before that.
Amidst all this change there is one thing that has remained constant, the Children. This is the reason why leaders all over the world voluntarily continue to give their time to Scouting - to help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as well as to encourage them to be responsible citizens as members of their local, national and international communities - all this whilst having fun and making new friends.
May this continue whatever the name of the group is.
Yours in Scouting,
Ada Parle.
Group Scout Leader.
